INTRODUCTION

Are you an organization struggling to improve utilization of your machines & resources? Or are you organization struggling to fulfil your customer demand due to capacity limitations, then the solution to your struggle is (SSM) Systematic Shopfloor Management. SSM is an element of Lean manufacturing. Lean, as the word says in not more or less, it's just optimum manufacturing. It is understanding our customer better and delivering 100% to fulfil their requirements. It's about manufacturing better quality, in lesser cost and lesser time by reducing or eliminating 'waste'. Waste refers to any activities or processes that is done on the shopfloor which doesn't add value to customer. Lean principles streamline processes, eliminate waste, and empower people to deliver exceptional results.

It is an approach to improve overall productivity of the manufacturing line by driving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of the Pacemaker / Bottleneck machine thru the SFMC approach. Through SSM, organizations would be able to optimize the utilization of resources like Man, Machines, Materials, Tools, Power, etc.

Keeping this in view Manufacturing Technology Training is organizing a two days training on SSM Systematic Shopfloor Management, at Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association, Bangalore.
