INTRODUCTION
 

Design thinking is a creative problem-solving method that helps teams develop innovative solutions to complex problems. It is based on the processes and methods used by designers, but can be applied to any field.

Nearly 70 % of all quality problems are design and planning related. Problem solving at the downstream end Is more costly and time consuming than fixing it at the source. Design thinking is the contemporary philosophy to enhance the product and process development, generation, and execution.

This program comprises two stages- 1) Foundation Stage and 2) Structure Stage. Foundation stage will instill attributes and Design thinking culture in the participant. While Structure stage will develop a rational thinking ability.

Faculty
 

Mr.Dhananjay M. Apte, Master in Engineering (Mechanical) has 30 years of experience. Presently working as Management & Engineering Consultant, Faculty and the Industry Trainer in Six Sigma, DOE and QC Tools along with Managerial/ Supervisory Effectiveness, Project & Productivity Enhancement skills, Statistical Quality & Process Control (SQC, SPC) and Operations Research. He has conducted more than 60 Training programs and consultancy assignments during the year 2010-14 in the said area.

He has acquired a vide practical skill set for delivering the result oriented Training through his Hard core and path finder experience in Production, Projects, Quality, Sales & Service. The unique feature in the Training is SIMPLE, INTERACTIVE APPROACH for best impact and results.

Prof. Apte has developed and implemented a Management Software named “Task Manager”. A mini–ERP Software for Effective Project Planning, Scheduling, tracking and Monitoring. He has implemented this software to Siemens associates, Mahindra & Mahindra and other Project based companies.
