INTRODUCTION

Rolling bearings are precision components playing a vital role in the reliable functioning of rotary equipment and industrial machinery. Lack of bearing awareness can lead to premature bearing failure, unexpected machine breakdown and loss of production. Basic knowledge about bearings can avoid these losses and bring in huge savings & benefits to the organisations. Proper selection and mounting of bearings is crucial for achieving the desired levels of accuracy in modern machine tools / Industrial machinery.

Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association is organizing a training programme on "Enhance Your Bearing Performance through right maintenance". This program will address all the relevant aspects of rolling bearings right from various types, application details, mounting & dismounting methods, lubrication and trouble shooting.

Having associated with SKF, Timken, FAG and NBC, Mr. Hanumanth Kulkarni brings in expertise in the areas of Design & Development, Manufacturing, Application Engineering and Technical training. Presently he is running his own company in training and consultancy services.
