INTRODUCTION

The customer expectations are ever increasing and compliance norms are becoming more stringent. Manufacturing being at the core of this, what matters most is the people efficiency. Even the customers are demanding their orders to be processed or machined or maintained by skilled people.

Investment on the people to role specific skilling gives organization- quality production without defects, Utilization of machines and production facilities for enhanced productivity, safe workplace for everyone, cost reduction and improved production capacity, which triggers the customer delight.

Skill, the ability to do work or perform job is of paramount importance considering work assignment, optimum engagement of people, development of people considering reskilling, upskilling or cross skilling. The entire skill system development and its proper implementation helps the organization to improve people efficiency, enhance people engagement in learning, relearning and improving performance and hence the business outcomes.

Having defined the role specific skill set requirements, helps in designing the learning contents, designing the skilling interventions, Delivering the interventions keeping applications in focus, skill assessments / validations for the purpose and the needful corrective or preventive actions creates an independently authorising on the work or reskilling. This will also help on understanding organization & required or compliance level learning requirements and efforts to fulfil them. 

This workshop, along with participants & management, will co-create the Skill System for entire Operating level people, role specific, that will trigger better transparency in responsibility & accountability, ownership and consequences. This work & career journey clarity inspires people in doing better and more, improved performance and results, disciplined culture and less effort pull system.

This workshop will help the organization to design and set up the skill system at operating level, considering the roles & responsibilities, learning matrix- role specific skilling interventions, KPAs and KPIs.

Dr Ravikumar, by education is M Tech from IIT Kharagpur, MBA & Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from SGBAU Amravati. He is having an overall 26 years of extensive experience and expertise helping the industries (Steel, Power, Projects, Oil, Shipping, Logistic, Telecom, Elevators & Escalators, Machining, Fabrication, Education, etc) to acquire the knowledge & skills, solving the problems for enhancing performance and earning competitive advantages.

Dr Ravikumar is passionate Human Resource Development professional, skilled in in transforming L&OD as an integral part of business, nurturing and earning huge competitive advantages.
