• Fundamentals of fixture design
• Decision on type of tooling based on:
  • Economics of tooling development
  • Socio-economic impact on fixture design
  • Safety considerations
• Maintenance of fixtures
• Acceptance and Buyoff of tools

This programme will benefit Managers, Engineers and Middle Management personnel involved in the functions of Design, Manufacturing and use of fixtures in Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Railway and General Manufacturing industries. However major focus in the programme will be sheet metal fixtures for automotive body.
As this is an advanced level workshop, it is desirable that the participants have an industry experience of at least five years.

This programme will be conducted by Mr. BL Patil and Mr. Maqsood A Khallaq.

Mr. BL Patil, is a Former Assisatant Director – IMTMA Design Institute has over 30+ industrial work experience in the field of Fixture design, SPM design (Metal cutting), Process planning for machined components.

Mr. Maqsood A Khallaq is an Industrialist with over 3 decades of expertise in Machine Design and Fixturing. An ex-HMT as Dy. General Manager served the R & D dept. He now runs his own Industry "XL CNC Machine" at Peenya.
