INTRODUCTIONIn this time of uncertainty only agile companies will survive. Agility in terms of shortest delivery time with minimum inventory is the name of the game. The concept of Minimum Order Quantity or MOQ has fallen by the wayside. Customers decide when they want and in what quantities and are unwilling to pay more for this service. Hence the focus on quick changeover or set-up change is like never before. The manufacturers must have the ability to produce smaller batch quantities and deliver them more quickly. They must be able to utilize equipment for as many different parts as possible. Keeping this in view, Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association is organizing a training program on Quick changeover techniques through SMED principles.
This programme will be conducted by Mr. Sachin Bhawsar, Mr. Sachin Bhawsar, has Over 30 years of experience in Operations Management, Manufacturing Excellence, Manufacturing Engineering, Greenfield & Brownfield Project Management, Supply Chain Management for Engine, Transmission, Powertrain, Passenger Car, Commercial Vehicle, Tractor in diverse business and cultural environments in Automobile & Agricultural Machinery Industries (ZF Steering Gear, Escorts Agri Machinery, Fiat India Automobiles, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hindustan Motors, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Force Motors). REGISTRATION : Prior registration for participation is necessary. Number of participants is limited and will be accepted on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis. A Certificate of participation will be issued to participants. |
